Founded by Hope Lauterbach in 2020, the Unbound Reading Series produces literary events that feature emerging and established Black authors and poets. Since 2023, Unbound has partnered with Neworld Theatre to produce the Black Futures Open Mic and Summer Open Mic, hosted by Harrison Mooney.
