On Sunday, March 22, I’ll be cohosting the third iteration of And Then What Happened?, a prose open mic where readers receive feedback on their writing from the audience!
This event was born from my own curiosity and desire for an open mic that catered to and prioritized something other than poetry, and opportunity to share my own fiction-in-progress and receive feedback on it. If you’re not currently enrolled in a workshop or creative writing class, or part of a regular writing group then it can be difficult to find places to share your work and receive feedback. The first two events were met with enthusiastic engagement and we were able to create a container for vulnerable sharing and connection.
